Chef's Office Academy · Module Four

Your cooking got you here. Leadership decides how far you go.

Leadership and Team Management is where you stop being the best pair of hands and become the reason the whole team is good. Set standards that hold, give feedback that lands, and build a section that runs to your level without you shouting to get there.

Self-paced access inside the Academy. Part of the Module 1 to Module 5 path.

The problem you already feel

You can be the best cook in the room and still lead a kitchen no one wants to stay in.

Talent gets you the section. It does not get people to stay, to care, or to hold the line when you are not watching. Turnover, silent standards, the same corrections every service: that is not a people problem, it is a leadership gap no one ever trained you to close, and it is quietly capping your career.

The four weeks

From best cook to the leader the team holds the line for.

01

The Chef as Leader

Run the honest audit: where you lead, and where you still only cook. Read whether your authority runs on fear or respect, and name the first leadership shift to make.

02

Standards, Accountability and Feedback

Set a standard properly, written, shown, and trained into one person. Give one real piece of feedback at the source, and see how it lands when it is done right.

03

Building and Developing the Team

Cut the turnover you can avoid, map your single points of failure, and delegate a real task to someone you are actively developing.

04

Capstone: Leadership Operating Plan

Bring it together into a leadership operating plan: the standards you defend, how you hold them, and how you build the team that holds them with you.

What you get

Built for a working kitchen, yours to keep.

Self-paced access inside the Academy, at the pace your roster allows.

Four weeks of lessons and worksheets, made for the pass, not the classroom.

The full leadership system: standards, accountability, and developing your people.

The Kitchen Lab team to practise the real calls on before you make them for keeps.

A capstone that leaves you with a Leadership Operating Plan for your own kitchen.

A live wrap-up session with Ricardo at the end of the module.

Self-paced, start when you are ready. The earlier modules build the base, and you can begin here if you are already leading a section.

Before you enrol

The questions chefs ask.

Do I need the earlier modules first?

They build the business base underneath your leadership, so they are the recommended path. If you are already leading a section, you can start here.

Is this soft-skills theory?

No. It is standards you can write down, feedback you can deliver on a busy Friday, and a plan you run in a real kitchen. Practical, not motivational.

Is the wrap-up session one on one?

It is a live wrap-up session with Ricardo for chefs finishing the module together. Bring your Leadership Operating Plan and the calls you are wrestling with.

What do I actually walk away with?

A Leadership Operating Plan for your own kitchen, and the standing that comes from a team that holds the line because they want to, not because they are afraid of you.

Lead the kitchen. Build the team. Grow the career.
